2nd Turkish Regional Congress of TATES

2nd Turkish Regional Congress of Trauma & Emergency Surgery was held with the collaboration of Turkish Association for Trauma & Emergency Surgery (TATES) and Surgical Department of Dicle University, between September 27-30, 2000. The congress president was Yılmaz Akgün (Associate Professsor of Surgery) and the general secretary was Ibrahim Tacyildiz (Associate Professor of Surgery). All over the country 155 participants attended the congress. Pioneers on the field from all over the country, and, Moshe Michaelson from Israel participated as speakers. 2nd Trauma & Resuscitation Instructor course was performed simultaneously with the congress. In terms of social activities, a postcongress tour including mount Nemrut, Urfa (the prophet city), Ataturk damn and Harran valley was organized.
