Operation Room (OR)

New OR area is serving our patients since 1999. Four operating rooms, one recovery room, one sterilization room, resting area for nurses, doctors and personnel are located in this region.

Floor and ceilings of the OR are covered with epoxy to refrain from infections, and the temperature is balanced centrally. One room is reserved for major trauma cases, one for emergency cranial, Orthopedic or Plastic surgery, one for laparoscopic procedures, and one for infected cases.

One recovery room is reserved for the postoperative period. Laparoscopy instrument, argon cautery, and other kinds of sophisticated equipment serve our patients.

There is an autoclave for sterilizing surgical instruments.

OR nurses are qualified in laparotomy, thoracotomy, vascular emergencies and other kinds of operations dealing with trauma & emergency surgery. The OR has been renovated in October 2004.
